Confront, Release and Integrate.

Happy New Year! What are you closing the door to in 2021? And what are you now ready to welcome in?

This time of year for me is one of solitude, silence and deep reflection. However, because of my current Maha Dasha, (time period) I’ve found myself in complete opposite circumstances of expanding social and family connections (Jupiter-Venus), big events and celebrations — despite this, I made time to answer those two questions above on New Year’s eve and New Year’s day!

VENUS RETROGRADE

From December 19th, Venus went into its retrograde cycle, this means that there is a return or a revisiting occurring of all things Venus matters until January 29th. Issues to do with relationships (it is the indicator of the 7th house of marriage and spouse or other), vitality, creativity, beauty, and inspiration — all that encompasses sensual pleasures and experiences.

In this cycle, I have my own happy news to share with you as my regular readers! I got engaged! And I’d like to add that my inner work paid off, along with a manifestation letter I had written a year before I met my partner came to pass. I was clear to focus on how I wished to FEEL in the relationship, shedding ego and image — this was the key for me, and Venus (being my ascendent planet) and as a representative of Lakshmi, I feel I was blessed with this boon.

I’m very aware that Venus retrograde can be challenging, and for many, this can signal a revisiting of past faces, or issues and conflict in any kind of relations. This is compounded by Kala Sarpa Yoga which is now underway — all planets are gathered in between one side of the axis of the karmic nodes, Rahu and Ketu. There is pressure, and a feeling of extremes which will play out in self and world.

As with any challenge, the process is to confront, release and integrate. Where in your life is a shedding and renewal required? Flow with changes, listen to where your body is sharing a No and where and to whom it is saying a Yes.

NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

The new moon arrives on January 2nd in the nakshatra (constellation) of Purva Ashada, ruled by Venus who is close by. Its symbol is of the tusk of an elephant — a connection with Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the one who blesses new beginnings. Apas is the deity of this area of the sky, the goddess of cosmic waters. Move towards purification, flow, and inner vitality. Notice what is sapping your energy. How can you align better in harmony with the collective consciousness and nature? Look at things from a more open minded, expanded lens.

In uncanny synchronicity, I drew the oracle card, ‘Goddess of the Moon’ (see below) depicting a feminine divinity standing beside a waterfall, almost drinking the soma, the nectar of the moon. It’s clear that this is a time of self-reflection, self care and solitude to gather our inner nourishment and well being.

NEW MOON INTENTION

GODDESS OF THE MOON

Intuition, Going Within

Receive the light of the moon, the light of inspiration.

Listen to the stirring of your intuitive voice; receive insights from your soul’s point of view. The Goddess of the Moon brings all types of information from the mundane to the spectacular. Allow a blossoming of this clairvoyant ability (even on a professional level) to take place. You’re always blessed with this ability to connect to higher wisdom, but this card is telling you that now is the perfect time to open up. Get ready for the amazing inspiration this brings.

Affirmation: I slow down to hear and trust my strong intuitive voice and freely receive its guidance.

JOURNAL THIS:

Where does my intuition and instinct live within my body? How does my body say Yes, and how does it show me my No?

What am I saying No to in the coming months?

What am I saying Yes to?

Share your thoughts in our Facebook community — I’d love to hear how this guidance has supported you — more in the oracle energy reading below!

I am here to support your warrior’s path,

To help you trust your inner wisdom

And awaken your powerful roar!

Rise Up,
