Our bodies have felt the recent big planetary energies of the full moon and its eclipse and Saturn’s retrograde and just recently, Mercury, the planet of intelligence, commerce, communication and technology went retrograde. This period of reflection, rehashing and back end work will last until 22nd June.
Retrogrades encourage a slowing down of movement and past matters or past connections pay a visit, either in psyche or in physical reality. With Mercury’s trickster energy in particular, events can be unpredictable and uncertain requiring us to adapt and change, however this time round, he moves between the friendly placements of Taurus and Gemini, signaling a powerful and auspicious portal.
To create inner stability in unstable times, ironically, like nature, we must adapt to the changes that life presents.
INTENTION
Evaluate your mental stories and discern your true inner voice.
Be flexible where needed. And don’t forget to diligently review your plans!

Control of Breath
Begin the study of various pranayama techniques, such as alternate nostril breathing and breath of fire. Where in life are you feeling depleted? Where are you feeling full? Our prana, or life force essence is showing us where we are feeling empowered or disempowered. When we practice breath control, we take back our power and increase our level of awareness and nourishment. Inhale the beauty, joy and magnificence of life, and exhale the toxicity, stagnancy and dullness. Use your breath to focus your attention on aligned pursuits. You may be contemplating or are currently going through a big life change — stabilise mind, body and spirit through pranayama.
